PTE Academic, PTE Core, and PTE Academic UKVI all take around 2 hours.
All three sections are computer-based and include:

You can retake the PTE exam up to 12 times within a given 12-month period, but you must wait to receive your previous score before booking your next exam, and you can only book one test at a time. There's no overall lifetime limit, but you need to apply for an exception for more than 12 attempts, which is rarely granted.
PTE results officially take up to 5 business days, but most students receive them within 12–24 hours. You can view your scores directly in your PTE account.
