PTE Academic / UKVI Exam Pattern - Writing
The PTE Writing module of PTE Academic / UKVI is in the same section as Speaking (Section 1) but is the second part or module of the test. It tests the candidate's ability to write and expresses their opinion in accurate English and effectively in academic contexts. It has two types of questions and the test takers have to type their responses using a keyboard and a computer screen. The responses are scored by an automated system based on various criteria such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, coherence, and vocabulary. PTE Writing practice is an important aspect of PTE preparation.
