Important things you need to know about the PTE exam format:

How does the PTE exam format tests a candidate’s knowledge from each module?

Speaking and Writing Module
This section checks the candidates English speaking and writing skills and fluency. During your PTE exam preparation, concentrate on learning to use correct grammar, check on your spellings and develop a flair while responding to the questions.
Reading Module
The reading section in the Pearson Test for English evaluates the candidates' understanding and interpretation of English texts. The paragraphs and texts used in the questions are usually academic in nature like classroom lectures, formal conversations and more.
Listening Module
The last and final part of the test, this section evaluates the candidate’s ability to understand spoken English in varied accents. The candidates are made to listen to audio or video files of 60-90 seconds duration only once. The candidate is supposed to listen to the files carefully and write a summary, answer questions related to the audio or video clips in several ways.
