This is the most important and highest-marking task of the PTE Academic. Here, you will listen to a short sentence that will be played once. You need to type it accurately as in the audio in the provided box.
This task analyzes your listening and writing skills. Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or disturbing the word order can cause a reduction in your marks. Instructions:
Concise responses will be analyzed for:
- You can only listen to the audio once.
- Try to write it as accurately to the audio as possible.
- You need to be focused, as the sentence will only be played once.
